Joanna's qualifications include a degree in Archaeology & Ancient History, a
postgraduate diploma in Town Planning (1986, London Polytechnic) and a postgraduate
diploma in Landscape Architecture (1995, Birmingham Polytechnic) while working in
environmental improvement. In the 1990s she was an associate member of the
Landscape Institute, the UK's chartered organisation for Landscape Architects (a body of
some 4,800 members worldwide that promotes and upholds standards in open-space architecture),
before choosing to concentrate on a career as a garden designer.
From her base in Surrey she now provides
garden landscape design services including
consultations and plan drawings for individual clients
throughout south-east England in particular. Joanna's
creative garden designs are regularly commissioned from
homeowners, contractors and builders alike.
